Salvador Freixedo

Was born in Carballiño (Ourense) in 1923. He was ordained a priest in 1953 in Comillas (Santander). It belonged for thirty years to the Order of the Jesuits. He studied Humanities in Salamanca; Philosophy at the University of Comillas; Theology at Alma College, San Francisco, California; Asceticism in Mont Laurier (Quebec, Canada), Psychology at the University of Los Angeles and Fordham in New York. He was professor of the History of the Church in the Interdiocesan Seminary of Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic). He is founder of the Catholic Workers' Youth movement in Puerto Rico. Founder also of the Mexican Institute of Studies of the Paranormal Phenomenon. For his first book 40 cases of social injustice, dictator Batista invited him to leave Cuba. His second book, My Church Sleeps, whose publication in Spain was not authorized by censorship, causes a great commotion in the Church and is forced to abandon the order, after a suspension to divinis. He has lived in twelve countries and has traveled the world, from north to south and east to west, presenting his books, giving lectures and participating in congresses and radio and TV programs. He has written more than thirty books, among them: The unconscious devil, Why dying Christianity, The human farm, Defend us of the gods, Theovnology and Church, wake up!
