HEAD OF INFORMATION
Fernando Correa is the information chief of the team headed by Jaime Maussan in his different projects, including Mystic and Inexplicable.
Fernando Correa is an astronomer and current information chief of the Third Millennium, as well as investigative reporter of the team headed by Jaime Maussan. Correa was born in Mexico City on August 11, 1968 and from an early age became interested in astronomy.
From 1983 he joined the Astronomical Society of Mexico, of which he has been a part since then. He has participated with NASA in the Global Saturn Campaign, as well as in different observation missions with renowned researchers such as Jane Houston Jones of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.
In academic life, he joined the Faculty of Engineering of UNAM in 1989 and taught at La Salle University between 1999 and 2000. Since 1985 he has been involved in the dissemination of science and technology in various programs such as 'Supernova' and 'Videocosmos' by Televisa. Since 1986 he has given lectures.
In the professional plane he has been scientific adviser in the equipment of Jaime Maussan, focused in the scientific area and of technological diffusion. In its beginnings it was emphasized like one of the reporters pioneers in the space subjects. He has been a Producer of Contents of the Earth Sphere, the educational tool of the Climate Institute in Mexico, which already monitors the environment from the hill 'La Negra' in Puebla.
